Wrendale Designs started life on a very crowded kitchen table in Lincolnshire. Having studied Zoology at university, Hannah decided to try and combine her passion for wildlife and nature with a love of all things creative by starting a small greeting card business based on her watercolour illustrations. Taking inspiration from the local countryside, Hannah’s unique perspective allowed her to capture something of the character of each animal she painted, and the cards were an instant success. The business has grown a lot since then, but it is still a family affair, with Hannah and Jack running the business and a wonderful team working behind the scenes to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
From the very beginning, Wrendale has always focused on producing beautifully designed giftware of wonderful quality and with keen attention to detail. Hopefully you will have noticed the beautiful, textured board we print our cards and stationery on -
it is sustainably sourced, milled in the Lake District, and replicates the watercolour paper that the original illustrations were painted on. We put this level of thought into the design of all our products and as a result have become well known for our beautiful cards, stationery and giftware.
