Rogaska is one of the many brands we at Posudmeister have been promoting on the Ukrainian market, yet it is also one of our most cherished ones. It took us quite a long time to find a manufacturer that produced crystal glassware as pure, sparkling, tinkling, and close to that of rock glass. We found it. It’s Rogaska!
This unique factory is located in Slovenia. Glass and crystal glass is manufactured in small workshops, located in the mountainous regions of Rogaska, for more than 350 years. In 1925, they merged into one group and started to work under the brand we now know as Rogaska.
What makes Rogaska’s glassware so unique is that the manufacturer managed to uphold centuries-long traditions of making thin blown crystal glassware, and moreover, to enrich them. Like many years ago, Rogaska manufactures high quality blown crystal glass. All their products are handcrafted based on ancient traditions. While many global manufacturers pursue bigger production volumes, cheaper technologies and the use of pressed crystal glass substitute, Rogaska is faithful to high standards of crystal glass manufacture.
In 2000s Rogaska was acquired by Italian investors, which provided a powerful marketing boost for the company. Now, some of the best Italian designers are involved in creating Rogaska’s collections, making the glassware highly desirable for individuals of refined taste.
Rogaska has won a number of prestigious awards, such as an International Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS). The company was also awarded a Superbrands status. At the request of the Slovenian authorities, Rogaska’s masters hand crafted gifts for U.S. presidents Bush and Clinton, Juan Carlos I of Spain, Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II, etc. More than fifty per cent of its manufacturing facilities work for such world-renowned brands as Vera Wang, Lenox, Vivienne Westwood, Waterford (USA), Armani Casa, Versace, Fendi (Italy), Villeroy & Boch (Germany), etc.
